Location and Transportation


Seoul National University (SNU) is located in the southern suburban area of Seoul, at the foot of the majestic Gwanak Mountain. The Campus is about 16 km (approx. 10 miles) from downtown Seoul.

For guests flying into Incheon, we plan to offer a shuttle service from Incheon to SNU, Guest House on July 30, 2006 and from SNU to Incheon on August 4, 2006.
Be sure to indicate your airline and scheduled arrival time so we can provide an efficient shuttle schedule. Once your registration is received online, you will be notified of details on location and times for pickup, by the shuttle service.

The following is an instruction to come to Seoul National University and Hoam Guest House from the Incheon Airport by bus (Don’t take a taxi. It is very expensive).

1. After passing the custom service, go out of the terminal building from the same floor. You will find a long line of buses.
2. Go to the bus station 6 or 12.
3. Find a ticket booth and buy a ticket for the bus 603 for Seoul National University.
   Buses have destination in English. The ticket price is about 7,000Won.
4. The bus 603 leaves the airport at 0, 20, 40 min. of every hour.
5. Get on the bus 603. The Seoul National University is the last station of the bus and it will take about 80min.
    to reach SNU. It will stop at the main gate of the SNU campus. Get off there.
6. Take a taxi at the main gate of SNU campus to Hoam guest house. It will cost you at most 3,000Won.
    A room isreserved under your name at Hoam.
