Title: On the (weak) Corona theorem for Banach algebras of bounded holomorphic functions
Abstract: In this talk, we survey relevant recent developments in the study of the (weak) Corona theorem in infinite dimensions. We also review the current state of the art about related topics such as the embedding of analytic disks into fibers.

16:10 - 17:00 Mingu Jung 2 (KIAS)

May 20th, 10:00 - 10:50 Bang Xu 1 (SNU)
Title: Some maximal inequalities in noncommutative analysis
Abstract: This talk is devoted to the presentation of some progresses on noncommutative maximal inequalities related to harmonic analysis. In the talk, I shall recall some fundamental noncommutative maximal inequalities.
