  the 2005 Korea Operator Theory and Its Applications Conference(KOTAC).  

  It is the eighth in a series of conference which started with the 1998 meeting in Korea.

  The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers on operator theory and operator   algebras to exchange ideas on the subject.
