We investigate free boundary problems for fully nonlinear elliptic and
parabolic equations with singular absorption terms. Our main results includeexistence, optimal growth along the free boundary, sharp local regularity, and
non-degeneracy of solutions.
This presentation is divided into three parts. First, we study fully nonlinear uni-
formly elliptic equations with logarithmic singular absorption terms. Second,
we examine fully nonlinear elliptic equations with general gradient degener-
acy and singular absorption terms. Third, we study fully nonlinear uniformly
parabolic equations with singular absorption terms.
