In this talk we focus on mathematical analyses and numerical approaches to a thermoviscoelastic nonlinear beam problem with Coulomb friction's law.
Due to insufficient smoothness of frictional conditions, we employ a regularization technique to set an approximate variational formulation. We show convergence of numerical trajectories and the uniqueness of weak solutions. Fully numerical schemes are proposed and representative numerical simulations are presented.
