In this talk, we will review the definition of barcode for Hamiltonian Floer homology for aspherical case. Next, we will introduce bottleneck distance which is always smaller than the hofer norm. Next, we will give several application to convince the usefulness of the language of barcode theory in symplectic geometry. Next we will see the proof of Cineli-Ginzburg-Gurel Chapter 6 of the recent paper.
