In this talk I will present some results about the eigenvalues of random normal matrices. I will firstly introduce the random matrix model and explain the limiting behavior of eigenvalues when the size of matrices goes to infinity. Specifically, this talk will focus on the random matrix model with singularities in the interior of the spectrum and the scaling limit of eigenvalues near a singularity.
