This talk introduces Bergman geometry, bridging classical several complex variables and modern complex geometry. We review the Bergman kernel and metric on classical domains, then discuss recent advances including asymptotic expansions and their role in approximating canonical metrics like Kähler–Einstein metrics. The talk is intended to provide a brief overview of key concepts and recent developments.
