Title: Complex projective structures and their holonomy representations
Abstract: A complex projective structure is a geometric structure on a surface is modeled on CP1. Its holonomy represenation is a homomorphism from the fundamental group of the surface into PSL(2,C). Almost all homomorphismsms of this type can be realized by projectives structures. Starting from basic definisions, we discuss relations between projectives structures, Riemann surfaces, and holonomy representations. Towards the end, we also discuss some recent results.
