On 2-adic signed Iwasawa invariants for quadratic twists of elliptic curves

Quadratic twists of elliptic curves provide us with interesting arithmetic phenomena and applications. Matsuno (2008) obtained a formula describing the variation of 2-adic Iwasawa invariants of elliptic curves with good ordinary reduction at 2 in quadratic twists. In this talk, we will give an analogue of Matsuno’s formula in the supersingular case. A key tool is 2-adic Kida’s formula for quadratic extensions, which is an analogue of Riemann-Hurwitz formula for algebraic curves in Iwasawa theory. By generalizing Kida’s formula to include the case of p=2 and #/♭-local conditions, we obtain the 2-adic variation of #/♭-Iwasawa invariants .
