The Lamb dipole (Chaplygin-Lamb dipole) is an explicit solution to the 2-dimensional Euler equations relevant to a large coherent vortex structure in a two-dimensional turbulence. I will report its stability in the 2-dimensional Euler equations for non-negative L^{2}-initial disturbance with finite impulse without assuming mass condition.
